The Marshall Way Contemporary
Arts District in Scottsdale is comprised of two blocks filled with
world-class art galleries mixed with a sprinkling of restaurants
and shops. artspace, located in this district is a
pioneering, new type of gallery. A joint venture between Textures
Gallery and the
Robert Roman Gallery, artspace is the first gallery
in the area to offer studio space for local artists in the Loft
Studios and Gallery. The artists in the Loft enjoy the interaction
with clients and other artists, working in an environment that has
become a warmhearted, easy-going community of art lovers and artists.
Visitors to artspace enjoy 7,400
square feet of contemporary art and craft, a true fine art destination.
Guests remark on the Gallerys approachable atmosphere and
diversity of fine art with a wide selection of painting and sculpture
and fine crafts. The Robert Roman gallery exhibits contemporary
painting and sculpture created by both emerging and established
artists. Drawn to expressionist painting and color, the paintings
of the Robert Roman gallery are a feast for the eye, featuring abstract
works that appeal to the viewers emotional inner self.
Textures Gallery focuses on contemporary fine
craft in such media as fiber, ceramics, jewelry, wood and glass
and is the Valleys first fiber art gallery. The walls abound
with colorful, heavily textured and embellished fiber wall hangings
including rugs, woven, and contemporary quilts.

I currently work out of my studio, which is located
in the artspace in Scottsdale,
Arizona. I am one of eight loft artists whose work is available
for viewing and sales through the galleries housed in artspace.
I welcome visitors and am available for private and group classes
on cultivating creativity, painting techniques and finishes, creating
ancestor memorabilia pieces, and personalized assemblage portraits.
